On October 31, 2019, My Chemical Romance announced their return that fans had been speculating since the break-up. They started by releasing the first date in Los Angeles on December 20th at the Shrine Expo Center. After tickets went on sale the following day, they sold out in MINUTES. Later that month, they announced tour dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
As if the excitement couldn’t grow any further My Chemical Romance released a video on their YouTube page on January 29 called A Summoning. The video lasts 13:12. At the end of the video they released their US tour dates. Quite a clever concealment of the purpose of the video. When tickets went on sale they were sold out of all locations by that evening. Fans are finally getting the reunion shows that they have been wanting since 2013.
